Hot Chick Syndrome

In my life I have noticed that a lot of women buy into the concept of Hot Chick Syndrome. What is Hot Chick Syndrome, you ask? It is the phenomenon of thinking hot women are better people than the rest of us. In terms of the women that buy into this concept, I have noticed three categories: 1) women who are naturally hot; 2) woman who achieve hotness; and 3) woman who don’t achieve hotness but still embrace the concept.

The first category are the women who are naturally hot. We all know these ladies. These are the ladies who are naturally hot by society’s standards. Sometimes these ladies start out being hot from the get-go. These are the ladies that are pretty and popular from kindergarten. Sometimes these ladies start-out awkward but grow into hot ladies early in life. Usually by the time they hit 18. The second category are women who achieve hotness. This can be as simple as dieting and exercise or as complex as having plastic surgery. Never-the-less, they are able to become hot ladies by society’s standards. The third category are the women who don’t achieve hotness but still buy into the concept of Hot Chick Syndrome. These are the women who struggle endlessly to achieve hotness but can never get there. Maybe they don’t have the right body type or the money to pay for the surgery. They can look good, but they will never be a hot chick.

The Hot Chick Syndrome is the concept of some women believing they are better others simply because they are hot. In the first category, the women never have given it much thought as they have always been hot. They may not even have insight into the fact that they are Hot Chicks and, therefore, have had things a little easier. In the second category, the women have insight since they have gone through the effort to achieve the look. However, they are not the genuine article so life won’t be as easy for them. They will always have to maintain their hotness status. In the third category, the women embrace the concept but realize they will never achieve the look so they settle. If the Hot Chick Syndrome is embraced, the hot women believe that they are entitled to things like attractive men, job recognition, etc. They also don’t understand the concept of working for their achievements since things have come so easily to them. They may even feel they have worked for their achievements and get defensive it others suggest otherwise. The not-hot women who embrace Hot Chick Syndrome accept the fact that they will never get an attractive man, job recognition, etc but are envious.

If a woman is smart, she will spend her time developing herself fully. That means she will focus on being a beautiful person inside or she will work hard to become skilled at her job. As we age a weird thing happens: the world starts caring less about how we look than what we have to offer. This is the time when women who don’t embrace the Hot Chick Syndrome will overtake the Hot Chicks. The Hot Chicks who have depended so much on their looks to get ahead will think the others are cheating. They don’t understand the concept of real work. So the others will win out.

Disclaimer

Before I end this blog, I should point out that not all beautiful women are Hot Chicks. There are many beautiful women out there who have also developed internal beauty and life/work skills. Hot Chicks are women who depend on their looks to get ahead in life and when others beat them they resort to nasty behaviors. They justify their nasty behavior with the belief that the others cheated somehow because they haven’t figured out the concept of hard work.
